RESEARCHING THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE DECISION TO CHOOSE TRANSPORTATION SERVICE PROVIDERS IN DANANG CITY

Abstract
Based on the survey results from 293 customers using freight transportation services from providers in Da Nang City, this study applied foundational theories and previous research findings to analyze the factors influencing the decision to choose a service provider. The study employed fundamental quantitative analysis methods, including statistical analysis, Cronbach’s alpha reliability assessment, Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), correlation analysis, and linear regression modeling using SPSS software. The key findings indicate the factors affecting customers’ service provider selection in Da Nang, with (1) Tangibles having the strongest impact, followed by (2) Empathy, (3) Assurance, (4) Pricing policy, (5) Responsiveness, and (6) Reliability.
