Abstract
The insurance market in Vietnam is facing fraudulent behavior, profiteering insurance of customers with diverse forms, sophisticated tricks and the huge amount of fraud. Therefore, making definitions and unification of views on insurance fraud is very important for the prevention of insurance fraud. This raises the need to identify legal shortcomings in the prevention of commercial insurance fraud and to improve the legal framework for this problem.
