SOME ISSUES ON HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY TO BUILD A STRONG BRAND IN THE DIGITAL ERA

Abstract

The world is turning itself into a new era, in which human contact with and consumption of digital contents is on an upward trend. Digital technologies are growing rapidly and have a strong impact on all Vietnamese businesses. In addition to the daily application of digital technologies to enhance competitiveness, the demand set forth in human resources development to build up a strong brand in the fields related to digital contents is also a great challenge not only for the government agencies, training institutions but enterprises themselves as well. This article addresses some of the basic issues including: The context of the 4th Industrial Revolution;Vietnam’s human resources situation during the digitalization period; Strategic solutions for human resources development to build a business’ brand in the digital era.
