Abstract
This study surveyed 345 employees working in small and medium-sized logistics enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City to identify the factors influencing job performance of logistics employees. A mixed-method approach was employed, with primary data analyzed using PLS-SEM. The results reveal that four factors including Meaningful Work, Employee Well-being, Job Satisfaction, and Work Engagement exert positive and significant effects on job performance. In contrast, work–life balance shows no statistical significant effect, and the moderating role of perceived organizational support is not supported. These findings provide empirical evidence supporting work motivation theories (Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, Job Characteristics Model) and highlight that intrinsic values and positive job experiences are key determinants of employee performance.
