Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of renewable energy, natural resources, financial globalization, and economic growth on environmental quality in Vietnam during the period 1990–2023. By applying Wavelet Quantile Correlation and Wavelet Coherence, the study reveals significant relationships between these factors and environmental quality in both the short and long term. The results indicate that renewable energy plays a positive role in improving environmental quality, while natural resources and economic growth have negative effects. Financial globalization shows varying impacts depending on the period and frequency. Based on these findings, the study proposes policies to promote the development of renewable energy, efficient use of natural resources, and regulation of international financial activities to achieve sustainable growth and enhance environmental quality in Vietnam.
