IMPACTS OF TIKTOK ON LEARNING ACTIVITIES OF STUDENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATIONS AT THE CAMPUS IN HO CHI MINH CITY

Abstract
This study aims to quantify and assess how the social media platform TikTok affects students’ learning outcomes at the University of Transport and Communications in Ho Chi Minh City. According to research findings, there are five categories of elements that influence students’ academic performance in the campus, including: (1) Awareness of TikTok’s usefulness; (2) information search; (3) TikTok’s video content; (4) interaction and sharing; (5) TikTok influencers, where the information search component has the biggest influence. The solutions also center on how to search best for information and documents on TikTok to meet the users’ demands and enhance their educational outcomes.
