Tác giả: Trần Thanh Hải; Số trang: 11

Abstract
The study utilized the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method for the first step and Tobit regression for the second step to evaluate the operational efficiency of food and beverage processing enterprises in Thai Nguyen province. The results showed that in 2021, the operational efficiency of these enterprises was not high, with an average efficiency score of 77.61, indicating that these enterprises wasted about 23% of their initial resources to generate the same level of profit. The operational efficiency of the enterprises was influenced by technology-related factors such as internet usage, online sales, and advertising, as well as control factors including scale, year of establishment, gender, and location of the enterprises. Therefore, the study provided recommendations with the expectation of improving the operational efficiency of food and beverage processing enterprises in Thai Nguyen, helping them achieve higher efficiency in the increasingly deep and broad integrated economy today.
