Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the impact of personality traits on job performance through internal factors like job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intention to stay of part-time civil servants at district-level administrative agencies of Hanoi. Quantitative research was carried out through a survey of 404 part-time civil servants. SEM analysis was used to test the hypotheses and the fit of the research model. The research results showed the Big Five personality traits have a significant positive impact on job performance through factors like job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and intention to stay. In which, conscientiousness has the highest impact on job performance of part-time civil servants. The research results brought theoretical and practical significance to the district-level administrative agencies of Hanoi with useful information about the importance of personality traits to the job performance of the part-time civil servants. Therefore, they can find suitable solutions to enhance the job performance of the part-time civil servants.
