Abstract
This study analyzes the current status of cadres’ and civil servants’ quality at the Women’s Union in Huong Thuy commune, Thua Thien Hue province. The study is conducted based on a survey of 181 Association cadres and 150 workers. According to the survey’s findings, the number of cadres and civil servants is stable and is structured logically, ensuring the Union’s smooth operation. However, the administrative reform in general and the process of establishing digital government in Thua Thien Hue province in particular, require to improve the quality of cadres and civil servants to meet the rising demand of the development. Therefore, this study aims at assessing the current status of the quality of the cadres and civil servants at the Women’s Union in Huong Thuy commune, Thua Thien Hue province in recent years, then suggesting some solutions for development towards improving the quality of cadres and civil servants that should be implemented in the near future.
