FACTORS AFFECTING THE ORGANISATIONAL COMMITMENT OF CIVIL SERVANTS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT OF NGHE AN PROVINCE

The study aims to discover the factors affecting the organisational commitment of civil servants at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An province. From the survey of 327 civil servants, the structural equation model (SEM) was applied to evaluate the impacts of influencing factors on organisational commitment of civil servants. The results show seven factors that directly affect the organisational commitment of civil servants at the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An province, including: pay and well-being, training and promotion opportunities, working conditions, leadership, reward and recognition, nature of work, organisational culture. The study suggests some significant policy implications for the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An province to increase organisational commitment of civil servants in the coming time.
