Abstract
The paper explores employees’ normative commitment in joint stock commercial banks in Hanoi and examines the factors that affect the normative commitment of employees in these banks. The authors use Cronbach’s Alpha analysis method, exploratory factor analysis along with regression analysis. The results show that employees’ normative commitment is determined by: Communication in the organization; training and development; rewards and recognition; team work; orientation to future plans; equity and consistency in governance policies. These results are the basis for proposing recommendations to enhance employee normative commitment in joint stock commercial banks in Hanoi.
