Abstract
Unfired bricks made from cement materials have been focused to develop in Thai Nguyen province in recent years. Although the production of unfired bricks uses a lot of industrial waste and has more advantagesin terms of production cost than traditional bricks, unfired bricksstill do not have a solid foothold on the market. The habits of using and producing traditional brick still implant in producers and consumers. Local citizens and society are not fully aware of the advantages and benefits of using unfired bricks in construction. This paper showed more detailed information about sustainable production and consumption of unfired bricks and summarized the current practice ofunfired bricks production and consumption in order to propose solutions to promote sustainable production and consumption of unfired bricks in Thai Nguyen province.
