Abstract
Attracting investment plays an important role in the social economic development of a country as well as a locality when making decision to invest in any locality, investors will have to consider investment conditions, infrastructure and policies of encouraging investment … Such factors are supposed to be in investment environment. In recent years, Thai Nguyen province has gained significant achievements in improving investment environment and attracting foreign direct investment. However, how to improve the quality of attracting FDI is a problem that Thai Nguyen province needs to study. At this article, the authors analyze the situation of foreign direct investment, and the investment environment of Thai Nguyen province through provincial competitiveness index to consider the impact of the investment environment on attracting foreign direct investment into Thai Nguyen province.
