Abstract
The stable and sustainable development of the stock market in general, the derivatives market in particular depends on the honesty, transparency and equity of the market. Along with compliance monitoring, transaction monitoring is one of the two most important aspects of supervision activities in the derivatives market. Transactions which need to be monitored in the market are transactions that deal with prohibited conduct such as insider trading, transaction manipulation market and so on. These transactions, if not prevented, will make investors lose confidence, which significantly affects the sustainable development of the derivatives market. This research shows that the operation of transaction monitoring in Vietnam Derivatives Market in a year has been focused with a clear legal framework, modern technology, a close combination between the stock market and the derivatives market to limit the phenomenon of price manipulation. However, the transaction monitoring in the stock market in general and the derivatives market in particular still needs to be upgraded in the coming time because there are still limitations such as the competence to access information to investigate suspicious transactions, no timely response information when there are doubts about illegal transactions …
