Abstract
Bac Kan is a mountainous province in the northeastern Vietnam with a favorable geographical position for trading, transporting and circulating goods with the provinces like Cao Bang, Lang Son, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong and Ha Noi. In recent years, Bac Kan province has always been interested in leading, directing and organizing the management of preventing and fighting against smuggling and trade fraud in the province. Therefore, the situation of smuggling and trade fraud in Bac Kan is now greatly reduced. However, the smuggling and trade fraud in Bac Kan province is still very complicated with many more sophisticated tricks, which are difficult to control, causing adverse impacts on socio-economic development and pressing the people. This fact requires to strengthen the prevention and control smuggling and trade fraud in Bac Kan province.
