Abstract
Attracting investment capital into the industrial parks is a major policy in Ha Giang province’s socio-economic development plan until 2018 with a vision to 2025. The development of industrial parks is a form of industrial centralization management, a typical way of creating dynamic economic sub-regions in the current trend. Through analyzing investment attraction activities into the industrial zones in Ha Giang province, the study shows some limitations such as the small number of projects and scale of investment capital sources in the provincial industrial zones, the limited quality of planning and development of industrial zones, the inadequate investment and infrastructure construction in the industrial zones of Ha Giang, the difficult accessibility to land and the low quality of human resources, the constraints in reforming of administrative procedures, and inattractive investment incentive policies. The paper proposes solutions to promote investment activities in Ha Giang province in general and Ha Giang industrial zones in particular.
