THE INFLUENCE OF FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT BEHAVIOR, HEDONISTIC LIFESTYLE, AND THE USE OF POSTPAID PAYMENT METHODS ON IMPULSIVE CONSUMPTION BEHAVIOR AMONG STUDENTS IN DA NANG CITY

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the influence of financial management behavior, hedonistic lifestyle, and the use of postpaid payment methods on the impulse buying behavior among students in Da Nang. Based on online survey data collected from 207 students and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), the research results confirm a negative relationship between financial management behavior and impulse buying behavior. Meanwhile, a hedonistic lifestyle and the prevalence of postpaid payment services exhibit positive relationships with impulse consumption behavior. Based on these findings, the study proposes recommendations aimed at promoting responsible consumption, emphasizing the role of students in self-control, the responsibility of educational institutions in building behavioral capacity, and the obligation of service providers to deliver transparent and ethical products.
