Abstract
Trade Remedies (TRs) are legitimate domestic protection tools within the WTO. In the context of global trade liberalization, countries have had to cut tariff barriers, resulting in the increasing trend of TRs measures employment. Vietnamese exporters have struggled to cope with hundreds of TRs cases from other countries. However, despite the introduction of TRs regulations over 10 years ago in Vietnam, the number of cases using TRs measures to protect Vietnamese producers is extremely modest. This raises the question of how to improve the effectiveness of Vietnam’s law enforcement on TRs.
