Abstract
In the context of today’s rapidly changing business environment, enhancing organizational adaptability to change is of critical importance. Dynamic capabilities play a particularly significant role in the business operations of firms, especially manufacturing enterprises. This study examines the impact of dynamic capabilities on the business performance of manufacturing firms, with a focus on the moderating effect of environmental uncertainty. A survey method using structured questionnaires was employed to collect data from 260 enterprises located in the Northern and Central regions of Vietnam. The results reveal that dynamic capabilities exert a positive influence on business performance, and this effect becomes stronger as environmental uncertainty increases. Based on these findings, the study proposes several managerial implications for manufacturing enterprises in Vietnam, highlighting the importance of developing dynamic capabilities as a means to adapt effectively to environmental volatility and thereby enhance business performance.
