Abstract
The study aims to examine the role of Web security on behavioral intention to use online banking services in the extended TAM model. The research was conducted in two phases, qualitative research and quantitative research. A snowballing sample of 498 potential customers using online banking services was collected to test the theoretical model. In the study, with the chosen reliability of 95%, the research results show that all 5 hypotheses (H1, H2, H3, H4, H5) are statistically significant, specifically the perception of usefulness (PUse), perceived ease of use (PEUse) and Web security (WSec) have impacts on behavioral intention to use online payment services (OPin) through the intermediator of cognitive attitude (Catt). Additionally, Web security (WSec) has a direct impact on OPin. Finally, based on the research results, some management implications are proposed for bank administrators who need to build good digital infrastructure to attract users.
