Abstract
Green credit has garnered considerable attention globally as it holds the potential to foster sustainable socio-economic growth and development. The notion of green credit revolves around offering financial support to projects that strive to accomplish sustainable development objectives, particularly in relation to environmental concerns. The research indicates that Vietnam is actively prioritizing green investment, with a specific focus on two crucial domains: green agriculture, and renewable and clean energy. The research also points out the difficulties facing businesses in accessing green credit as well as the shortcomings that credit institutions face when aiming to develop the scale of green credit. Building upon these findings, this article proposes a range of policies to promote the expansion and advancement of green credit in Vietnam.
