Abstract
ODA (Official Development Assistance) is an important resource for socio-economic development, especially for developing countries like Vietnam. Over the years, Japan and Korea have been the two the largest ODA providers to Vietnam, which has supported the Government of Vietnam to achieve socio-economic development goals and gain remarkable achievements in economic development and impressive social progress, contributing significantly to GDP and poverty reduction in recent years. In addition, among the countries receiving ODA from Korea and Japan, Vietnam have received the largest volume of ODA which far exceeds that of other countries
