Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the factors that affect the work motivation of civil servants in Thai Nguyen city. The data was collected from the survey of 200 commune-level civil servants in Thai Nguyen city. The data were calibrated using the Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient and the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) model. The results showed four groups of factors affecting the quality of the commune-level civil servants in Thai Nguyen city, including: (i) the appreciation and recognition of managers and colleagues; (ii) social relationship; (iii) nature of work; (iv) learning and promotion opportunities.
