Abstract
In the knowledge economy of the industrial revolution 4.0, high-quality human resources are becoming a valuable asset for each locality. This is the most important resource to create values for local socio-economic development. There are many studies on the development of high-quality human resources; however, for a locality like Vinh Phuc province, there has been no published research on human resource development solutions to meet the needs of businesses in the province. This study analyzes and evaluates the current situation of human resource training in Vinh Phuc province over the past time. The data collected from 2016 to 2020 focus on human resources and on vocational education. Based on the forecast of high-quality labor demand of enterprises, the research comes up with solutions to develop high-quality human resources to meet the needs of businesses in Vinh Phuc province, contributing to economic development of the province in the period of 2021-2025 and a vision to 2030.
