Abstract
The paper analyzes potentials, status, and solutions to develop community ecotourism in the Non nuoc Cao Bang UNESCO Global Geopark. Research results show that the region has great potentials in developing community ecotourism thanks to both diverse and unique natural and cultural – historical resources. However, community ecotourism here is only in the early stage of the development due to limitations of infrastructure, labor’s qualifications, participation of stakeholders and policy mechanisms. Recommended solutions include enhancing community ecotourism education, strengthening state management, increasing stakeholder engagement, promoting the training of human resources, diversifying tourism products, strengthening the tourism promotion, and focusing on heritage conservation and environmental protection.
