Abstract
The socialist-oriented market economy institution in Vietnam has undergone a process of awareness and development, from low to high, from incomplete to more complete and profound, in both theory and practice. Up to now, the socialist-oriented market economy institution in Vietnam has been step by step completed with many features towards modernization, synchronization and integration towards international practices. However, there remain a number of issues that need further research and clarification. Based on the theory of the market economy and the summarization of the theory and practice in Vietnam, the article aims to provide several references and some normative perceptions to Vietnam in the process of constructing and completing the socialist-oriented market economy institution.
