Abstract
The fourth industrial revolution has had a strong impact on all areas of social life. The article focuses on clarifying theoretical issues about the fourth industrial revolution, the impact of this revolution on the labor market in Vietnam. The research results show that the production automation trend has created an imbalance in supply and demand in the labor market in all fields. For developing countries like Vietnam, the challenge is even greater when the conditions of technology infrastructure and human resources are not ready to adapt and take advantages of the opportunities that the Fourth Industrial Revolution brings. Therefore, in order to make the best use of the opportunities that the fourth revolution brings, Vietnam needs to implement many synchronous solutions to develop the labor market and solve employment problems well to meet requirements of this revolution.
