Abstract
The Vietnamese retail market is currently attracting the attention of regional and international retailers. There are a lot of factors affecting consumer buying behavior, of which, the achievements of The Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0) in approaching customers, buying and selling products, management or payment, etc. are significant factors to retail enterprises. Thai Nguyen province located in the centre of Viet Bac area connects Viet Bac and the Northeast Delta, and lies in the centre of developed area like Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh. Therefore, Thai Nguyen market has got the advantages in retailing products. This research shows the prospects, the challenges, and the solutions in order to develop and improve competitiveness of retail enterprises in Thai Nguyen Province in the Industry 4.0.
