PROMOTING VIETNAM’S AGRICULTURAL EXPORTS TO ASEAN+3

Abstract
Promoting commodity exports, focusing on advantageous ones such as agricultural products, is one of Vietnam’s important economic development strategies. Over the past years, agricultural trade between Vietnam and ASEAN+3 has been gradually developing and achieved remarkable results in terms of export turnover as well as export market share. Using the constant market share model (CMS), the article focused on analyzing the impact of three factors on the fluctuation of Vietnam’s agricultural export turnover to ASEAN+3 in different periods. Based on the practical difficulties of exporting agricultural products, the article proposed 5 necessary solutions to boost Vietnam’s agricultural exports to ASEAN+3 in the following years.
