CHINA’S SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONES WITH ESTABLISHING THE INSTITUTIONS OF A MARKET ECONOMY – A LESSON FOR VIETNAM

Abstract
China’s special economic zones are the result of a special historical period, and a priority policy aiming at seeking and reforming the economic system while enhancing creativity in developing Chinese-style market economy. Stemming from the experiences of changing economic models in the process of developing special economic zones in China and from the facts of developing a market economic in Vietnam, and based on theories of market economy and results of the research, this article provides references and suggests lessons for Vietnam in the process of building and improving the socialist-oriented market economy.
