Abstract
National target programme on new rural development is a big policy of our Party and State, which attracts the participation of people of all classes and the political system. Lao Cai is a mountainous province with difficult socio-economic conditions, but this province has focused on mobilizing all resources to effectively implement the program. Up to now, after 10 years of implementation, the national target programme on new rural development in the province has achieved positive results. It is necessary to have assessments of these results to draw lessons to help Lao Cai continue to effectively implement the program in the coming time. Using descriptive statistics, the paper evaluates the performance results and draws lessons from the implementation of the national target programme on new rural development in Lao Cai province.
