Abstract
Yen Bai province is in a rush to finish the process of developing new rural areas. After 8 years implementing new rural area programmes, this province has gained such remarkable acchievements in many aspects. Developing new rural areas which has drawn people’s concern and been highly approved by dwellers has a huge effect on every field of society and correspondingly made country life more well- developed and civilized. Despite its achievements, there are some drawbacks. Firstly, the progess of the programme has stayed slow. Secondly, some critera have been unmet or unsustainably met. In the study, several solutions are suggested to make the programmes in Yen Bai Province more successful.
