Abstract
In recent years, Thai Nguyen province has made positive changes in economic development: The economic growth is always at a high rate and the income of people reaches the highest level in the Northern mountainous region. That result is attributed to a significant contribution from the economic sector with foreign direct investment (FDI) operating in the province. Contributing to the economic growth, FDI sector has created many jobs, and solved the problem of labor surplus not only for Thai Nguyen province but also for many neighboring provinces and in the region. Based on secondary data collected from the Department of Statistics, Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs of Thai Nguyen province, this study applied descriptive statistical methods to analyze the current situation of labors in FDI enterprises in Thai Nguyen province, then pointed out the strengths as well as the remaining limitations and proposed some solutions to improve this issue.
