Abstract
Personal savings play a vital role in ensuring financial security, supporting long-term goals, reducing financial stress, and enhancing financial independence. This study aims to analyze the impact of financial literacy on personal savings ability in Can Tho City, Vietnam. Based on data collected from 327 survey participants between April 2025 and May 2025, a logistic regression model was used to determine the impact of financial literacy on saving ability. The results demonstrate that financial literacy significantly affects personal savings ability, alongside other factors such as the number of children, occupation, income, age, and education level. Consequently, the study proposes several recommendations aimed at improving financial literacy, thereby fostering savings habits and contributing to the enhancement of local socio-economic conditions.
