Abstract
The study aimed to evaluate the factors affecting the students’ entrepreneurial intention at Phu Yen University, through a field survey and analysis using the ordinary least squares (OLS) method on a sample of 265 students. The results of the analysis showed that five factors had a significant impact on students’ entrepreneurial intention, including personality traits, perceived behavioral control, attitude towards entrepreneurial behavior, business education/perceived support from education, and social status. In particular, personality traits and perceived behavioral control were identified as factors with a prominent level of impact. From the research results, the author proposed several solutions to promote the entrepreneurial spirit among local youth, especially students at Phu Yen University.
