FACTORS AFFECTING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL INTENTION OF STUDENTS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ECONOMICS AND BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION – THAI NGUYEN UNIVERSITY

Abstract
The study examines the factors affecting the entrepreneurial intention of students at the University of Economics and Business Administration – Thai Nguyen University, by surveying 286 students. Methods of reliability analysis using Cronbach’s Alpha, exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and multiple regression analysis, were used with the SPSS software. The results show that the factors of self-efficacy, experience, capital, business passion and educational program have influences on students’ intention to start a business. In which, capital and business passion have the greatest impacts on students’ intention to start up. The self-efficacy factor has fewer impacts. The results of the study will contribute to the expansion of theoretical research on entrepreneurship; and recommendations in management will promote entrepreneurship activities among students and young people.
